We had a great visit-we went to the Houston Zoo where Noah was able to see a giraffe for the first time. He likes giraffes alot but wasn't especially kiddy about seeing one in person much to my surprise. It was a little windy that day but the weather was perfect otherwise. Saturday we just kind of relaxed and let the kids play outdoors. KRISTIN smoked some ribs for us for lunch and they were really, really delicious.
This is ME crawling through a tunnel (for kids of course) in one of the buildings at the zoo. I was trying to get Noah to follow me but to no avail.
My "cool cat" with his favorite toys-TRUCKS!!!
Uncle Brad getting some sweet cuddle time in!
Sami holding a rabbit-the girl has NO fear!
My parents, Rhonda & Sami, and Noah & I made another trip this past weekend to visit Kristin and her family and see Tyler play a T-ball game. He did so good. Nearly every time I see that sweet boy I remember his small, delicate, 1 lb. 12 oz. frame as a premie at 25 weeks. He has absolutely no mental or physical deficits and in fact if anything he excels. You should see him dance. Let's just say he didn't get his dancing skills from his Uncle Brad!!!! God has been SO good to sweet Tyler!!! He is definitely a miracle.
Noah did watch the game a little and after Tyler batted one time he looked up at me and said "Mama, its my turn." He also kept saying "I want in there" and pointing to the field. So I'm really considering putting him in Wee-Tee next year! Gosh that boy is growing up WAY TOO FAST for his mama!!!
Little tidbit=When you have about 20 minutes one day, please go to this website and listen to the words from these parents who recently lost their baby girl. It will make you appreciate life more than before. http://withoutwax.tv/
This weekend we are off to Toledo Bend with my in-laws. Noah says we're going to catch some fish & alligators. Well I'm hoping we catch alot of the former and none of the latter!!!!!
