Mother's Day

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him." Psalm 127:3.

I feel so blessed to be the mother of two little ones...I truely do feel blessed by God. He has been so gracious to me. I am 31 weeks pregnant and really enjoy feeling Ethan kick and squirm in my belly. I sure am going to miss that...I think that is my fav thing about being pregnant...but am ready to hold him in my arms and tell him how much he is loved. Noah was a "prayed over, long awaited" babe & I LOVE him so much I think my heart could break sometimes. He has brought so much joy (and I have to be honest sometimes frustration) to my life. God has already taught me so much through Noah and I pray that I am teaching him how to love and honor God. Soon we will have another boy to love on & I could not be more excited!!!

I am also very blessed to be the daughter of a godly mother who has taught me how to love God and put Him first, to have compassion for others, to be generous, and to put others' needs ahead of her own. My sisters & I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to have a mom that stayed at home with us and I am very grateful that my mom chose to forego a career in the workplace for a career at home. I remember going to the local "clothes closet" during the summer several times during the summer to help serve the poor/low income in our communtiy by handing out food and clothes. That is just one of the many things my mom instilled in us girls...to give your time serving others. Thank you mom!!
