On this date three years ago me and Brad laid eyes on our own miracle child, Noah Alan. It is hard to believe our sweet boy is already 3 years old. Noah-you are such a blessing to your dad and I. So sweet and sensitive yet stubborn and determined as well. You keep us laughing with your funny remarks, facial expressions, and dance moves. An outdoorsmen you are sure to be-you follow your dad around "working" outside and when asked what you have been doing outside w/ daddy, you usually reply "busy working on _____" We are well aware that you are listening and watching our every move now more than ever. We love you so much and feel so blessed to have you in our lives!!! Happy Birthday sweetie!!!
Yesterday we had Noah's birthday party in the backyard. It was PERFECT weather and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves. Noah was so excited about his party and sat patiently waiting for everyone to arrive. No major breakdowns while opening presents although he did get distracted with all the trucks/cars. That boy loves him some trucks and cars!! We had homemade ice cream (vanilla and peanut butter) and cake. YUMMY!!
Noah opening his presents. He did really well keeping on track until he opened Nanny's gift-a truck-and this got him sidetracked!!
Waiting patiently for the "Happy Birthday" song. He actually started singing it to himself while Brad was trying to light the candles. He sang "Happy Birthday to me....Happy Birthday to myself.." so funny-he cracks me up. (I promise we had never sang it like this!)
OK I think this may be one of my favs-BTW thanks Tasha for taking pics.
Addison decided she wanted to get a little taste before anyone else did-HA!!
We spent the evening watching the LSU game with Ross & Susie, Tasha, and Brad's parents. Or should I say that Susie looked @ magazines-Poor thing has no interest in football and I'm sure she was bored to tears!! The kids played so well together so we actually got to watch most of the game. It was another nail biter with Auburn as usual but we managed to pull it out!! GEAUX TIGERS!!! (Sorry Chris & Alison-better luck next year)
